Starting on August 1st, three seasons of The Hollywood Masters will be available for streaming on Netflix!
“Personal. Provocative. Hollywood’s greatest successes reveal the secrets behind their careers,” teases IMDB. Alfonso Cuaron, David O. Russell, Sherry Lansing, Judd Apatow, John Singleton, William Friedkin, Michael Mann, James L. Brooks, Billy Bob Thornton, Hans Zimmer, Hilary Swank, Sean Penn, Ethan Hawke, Sir Kenneth Branagh, Clint Eastwood, and Quincy Jones were just some of the Hollywood luminaries who appeared as guests on this incredible critically-acclaimed television series — moderated by Hollywood Reporter executive features editor, Stephen Galloway.
Netflix has licensed the first three seasons, encompassing 36 episodes, produced entirely by the School of Film and Television (SFTV) at Loyola Marymount University (LMU). This is especially exciting for me personally, because I was part of the LMU production crew for those very same seasons, since the show’s inception in 2014. Look back to my earlier blog posts for an inside look and video highlights here: Season 1, Season 2 and Season 3.
Being a film student at LMU afforded me opportunities to experience and work on some truly fascinating film industry events, and The Hollywood Masters was at the top of my list!
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look …
