Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve added anything to my blog or updated my website, but I’ve been CRAZY busy all year. #NOTcomplaining.
I’ve been working regularly as part of the UWTV crew, adding camera operator to my list of jobs there. My ongoing gig with Well READ — seen on over 250 public television stations, covering 84 percent of US television markets — has given me the chance again this season to work with amazing guests like Mark Shriver, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Mary Louise Parker.
Expanding my UW work to include sporting events, now I’ve crewed UW Football for the CFB #4-ranked Huskies during their run to the December 31 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl against Alabama’s #1 Crimson Tide #PurpleReign #CFBPlayoff. I’ve also worked women’s and men’s basketball, as well as women’s volleyball, and even worked UW 2016 Commencement over the summer.
During the election season, I worked the Democratic Congressional Primary Debate at UW’s Kane Hall — yep, that’s me up there in the photo up top (lower right corner, facing the candidates) running the teleprompter — and, more recently, the prestigious Rosenthal Symposium, held outside Washington D.C. for the first time ever.
In addition to all my UW gigs, I continue to make time to create promotional videos for PAWS of Lynnwood which is both fun and rewarding work.
Until I have a chance to write another post, here’s a look at some of what I’ve been doing — oh, and before I get back to work — HAPPY HOLIDAYS everyone!!
